Moreover, understanding which times of the cycle are best for certain things, brings an ease into life that simply won’t have been there before.
For example, you may be trying to do things premenstrually, when that just isn’t the right time of the month to do them. This results in you feeling useless, exhausted and depressed. However, try to do the very same thing at the right time of the month, and it will flow! Believe me, the difference is incredible! We simply cannot work against our cycle’s intelligence and have a successful life.
Think about the seasons of nature and how the earth changes with them. For example, Spring is about new life and energy, where as nature has a need for rest and renewal in Winter. There is a rhythm in the seasons that is fully reflected in our menstrual cycle. Live in harmony with the ‘inner seasons’ and you’re on your way to a healthy and balanced life. You’ll recognise the wisdom in it because its encoded within you.

Healing and integration of loss through miscarriage or termination of pregnancy
I hold space for acknowledging and integrating the difficult, and often underestimated loss of a pregnancy through either a miscarriage or a termination. When this experience goes unacknowledged, it can leave a deep wound within, causing sadness, stress, shame and a loss of joy. Your experience needs to be validated to be able to heal and this rarely happens. Working with womb yoga and healing techniques, and with the power of simple ritual, I am always deeply touched by women’s stories and feel honoured to be part of them as they come into the open to be heard, held and healed.
